The Indie Collab
In my quest to understand book publishing, I found myself in many cold email conversations and informational interviews. One special cold email and Zoom call led me to collaborate with The Indie Pages.
The Indie Pages is a growing publishing resource, built and designed to provide information and assistance to BIPOC self-publishing authors. It is owned by Book Designer, Monique Sterling.
I was so excited to be a part of the writing of the material for the Editing Sections of the Book Making Process and The Editorial Process. What I loved most about working on Indie Pages projects was that there were no hesitations, or uncertainties, about how to proceed. I was so comfortable and sure about what I had learned and experienced that it naturally fell onto the page during the first drafting process. I felt completely at home with this project and was proud of the end result.
I had the opportunity to do an Instagram Takeover on the Indie Pages Page- recording and editing my videos with music and graphics.

Collab of the Year
I am so grateful to announce that JW and The Indie Pages will officially be going on a collab journey together in 2025-2026. As this project unfolds, I will be taking the lead on writing, producing, and directing digital and print content that will be uploaded onto JW and The Indie Pages platforms.
